Video people choose to watch.

I've spent 15+ years turning complicated products and ideas into video, from a daily YouTube series that reached 17 million views to an executive interview series for Microsoft Learn. I develop the format, write it, cast it, run production with studio partners, and take it to launch.

From text-heavy to video-first

Owned a video production studio budget and moved a text-heavy content culture to video, with motion graphics and live action. Decided what to make in-house and what to send to vendor partners.

Format thinking

Every format has a job.

How I decide what to make, and what to pass on.

Series build an audience. One-offs build a moment.

A recurring format with a consistent host and structure gives viewers a reason to come back, and each episode makes the next one easier to find. Campaign and launch films earn their budget on a specific date.

Short-form is the trailer, not the show.

Social cutdowns carry one idea to people who haven't met you yet. They work best when they point back to something longer worth watching.

Customers tell the story better than we do.

Guests and customers who have done the work give a story credibility a brand voice can't. The job is to cast well, ask well, and edit for the moment that lands.

Set the bar without becoming the bottleneck.

Clear briefs, shared moodboards, and a predictable review step let partners and other teams make good video without waiting on one person.
